In 1999 accomplished modified driver Wade Cross began revalving his own shocks because he wasn't happy with the areas services at the time. As Wades success grew on the tracks, other drivers started taking notice and began asking Wade to work on there shocks as well.
Cross eventually hooked up with Bill Hindorf and Rex Merrit of Bilstein shocks and F/X Suspension began. They've been a leader in the shock business ever since. Cross and F/X Suspension are certified re-builders of such nationally know brands such as Bilstein, Integra and QA1 shock absorbers.
All of F/X Suspension's focus is on shock absorber technology. "We firmly believe in service and results, not Fancy stickers and over the top marketing" Wade commented. "Our success has came from our 'out of the box thinking' not by copying someone else's stuff and then giving it to already wining drivers for instant credibility". Cross then added "We are a full service custom shock re-builder, not a parts warehouse. All we do is shocks"
F/X Suspension customers reach clear across the United States with countless wins and championships. Including national champions in three major I.M.C.A. classes plus Supernationals champions in all four of the Saturday nights main events.
Cross stressed that "the Saturday night racer is who we cater to" "just because our services are more affordable than most given the flooded shock market, doesn't mean the racer won't receive the best package possible for his current program and budget" Staying a small company is what keeps us focused on innovation and more importantly a 'best kept secret'"
Chassis consulting and maintenance has became a big part of F/X Suspension's service with 'one on one' help second to no one.
